Starchaster Rocket Fellowship

Burscough Priory are a Fellowship School with Star Chaser Industries and as such were invited to take a group of pupils to watch the launch of their new rocket Nova 2 in Summer 2010.  Nova 2 is a bespoke rocket airframe that stands more than 6 metres tall and is capable of generating up to a tonne of equivalent thrust.

Nova 2 has an eco-friendly rocket engine that will power itself to the sky using recycled polythene that produces low or no harmful emissions.  At present Starchaser Industries having static test firings of the engine which Mrs. Lee and Mrs. Fidler were invited to as ambassadors to represent Burscough Priory.  They watched the firing of the rocket engine as well as looking at some of the previous rockets that Starchaser Industries have produced.
