Burscough Priory Science College (BPSC) is totally committed to protecting the privacy of all users of this website as well as the students, staff and governors from the school.

User privacy:
BPSC do not covertly collect any information from users of this website but if and when this policy changes we will openly explain within this "Privacy Statement" what information is collected and for what purpose.
The usage of any information openly submitted to the site and received by BPSC  is covered within the "User Submissions" section of our "Terms of Use".
Personally identifiable information that you submit to BPSC for the purpose of receiving specific information will be handled in the Strictest Confidence. Information classified as personally identifiable will not be posted on this site or published in any other format. It will be directed to the specific addressee as defined by the senders e-mail.

We do not currently use cookies on this site but if and when this policy changes we will openly explain within this "Privacy Statement" what information they carry and why we use them.

Student's privacy:
To ensure maximum privacy and protection of the students at BPSC we do not name any students shown in our photographs, or, where students are named we do not show photographs of them. Parents and guardians of all students at BPSC are given the opportunity of disallowing the use of photographs of their child(s) with respect to material posted on this website or any other material produced by the school.

If any photographs or other image appear that parents or guardians are not happy with and would like to see it removed please e-mail the webmaster or contact the school office.

Staff privacy:
Any information appertaining to teaching and non-teaching staff and Governors of BPSC posted to this website is only done with the express approval of the individual it relates to. It is not the intention to publish any personal information for this "group" other than that provided by and or approved by the individual concerned. In the event that an individual feels this policy as not been upheld then the individual should, as a priority, contact the webmaster to facilitate removal of or editing of the offending information.
