Our Learning Resource Centre was fully refurbished during the summer of 2008 with a pleasant, refreshed appearance and the addition of air conditioning. The area was previously half the size it is today, with the refurbishment work including knocking through to the previously adjacent classroom to effectively double the size of the LRC, creating a spacious and bright learning centre.
The room is equipped with 17 networked computer workstations which, besides providing access to office applications and the internet, allow students to browse our Library book database.
The Learning Resource Centre is used in lessons primarily by the English Department, although other departments are able to book it for their own use.
The area is often used for Governors meetings and the tables can be setup in a variety of configurations.
