On Friday 31st March, we will be having a non-uniform day to raise money for DKMS, a charity who help increase the number of potential stem cell donors in the UK to help people affected with blood cancer and blood disorders.
The day has been organised by three pupils – Olivia, Caitlin and Bethany Will, whose cousin was diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia. Thankfully, a stem cell match was found for him and the family are raising money for, and awareness of the charity and their work.
Students are being asked to donate £1 in return for coming to school in non-uniform.
There will also be a cake sale taking place on Monday 27th March at break time so any pupils wishing to purchase cakes are reminded to bring cash with them.
