Music Department: Singing Examinations

WELL DONE TO OUR SINGERS!

 July 2009

A huge congratulations to all the singers that took graded singing examinations in July. There were twelve pupils entered and nine of them achieved distinctions, the highest category of marks available. This is an absolutely incredible achievement. Well done!

Five of those entered passed grade six. This is the first time that Priory pupils have been entered at such a high grade and Francesca Fairclough, Lydia Craddock, Rachel Prescott, Emma Francis and Hannah Avery all did incredibly well in achieving success at this level. This success will support their university applications, as success at this level gives them valuable UCAS points.

The Performing Arts department has decided to make a special award for achievement, to Lydia Craddock who gained the highest mark in the grade six examination.
