The morning of
August 21st saw lots
of anxious pupils
returning to school
to pick up their
examination results
and for most anxiety
turned to excitement
and euphoria as the
summer of 2007
brought a bumper
crop of GCSE passes
for pupils at
Burscough Priory
Science College.
We are also
extremely pleased to
report some notable
achievements with a
number of
pupils achieving A*
and A's across the
board for all their
subjects, (further
details will be
posted soon).
From an overall
school perspective
we can report that
Priory exceeded the
"5 A*-C's" goal set
by the Local
Education Authority
by a margin of 7%, a
great result all
around.
