GCSE results day
2009 is a day that
will be entered into
Priory history as
the School posted
the best ever
examination results
it has ever
achieved.
We are extremely
pleased to report
that Priory pupils
achieved 74%
"5 A*- C's"
and 60% "5 A*s to
C's" including
English and Maths.
This compared to
last years results
of 60%
"5 A*-C's"
and 54% "5 A*'s to
C's" which is a
considerable
improvement
Callum Thow was
Priory's top
individual performer
achieving 7seven and
a half A*s and two A
grades in response
to his sister
Kirsten's four A*s
and five A's two
years earlier.
The Music, Drama and
Performing Arts
results were
outstanding with an
incredible 100% of
all pupils achieving
a grade A* to C in
all subjects. In
Performing Arts
(Yr10 pupils) the
School achieved
twelve A*s, seven As
and 1B and suffice
to say both Mrs
Nelson and Mrs
Walton are
delighted.
The science
department also did
exceptionally well
with 100% of pupils
achieving A* to C in
separate sciences,
(physics, chemistry
and biology) with
ten A*'s in biology
and ten A*s in
physics.
Congratulations and
well done to
everyone and good
luck in your future
