Awards Afternoons

At the start of each autumn term we take the time out to recognise and reward the achievements of our students with respect to their previous years work and also the contribution they have made to the school and community.

This years awards afternoons are scheduled to take place on the following dates:

Students can receive awards from the following categories:

The criteria used with respect to awarding a student with each of these awards are as follows:

Award Criteria
Attainment Nomination from a member of school staff in recognition of student's achievement.
Effort Nomination from a member of school staff in recognition of student's effort.
Attendance Student achieving 100% attendance for the year.
Service to School Nomination from member of staff in recognition of student's involvement in at least two major school events.
Service to Community Nomination from an adult from the local community to reflect student's participation in an external activity that supports the local community
Performing Arts Nomination from a member of school staff in recognition of students participation in school productions, shows, dance workshops or other performing arts related ensembles
PE Student represents Priory at District level in sports
Work Experience Nomination from employers and or staff in relation to during work experience
5*Athletics Student achieving the national standard in three athletic events
