Dear parents/carers of Y11 pupils
Re: Y11 Study Leave
All staff have been working hard to support Year 11 students in preparation for their GCSE examinations. There are regular revision and intervention sessions, as well as plenty of encouragement. This year due to changes in the GCSE examinations there will be more exams which in some cases last far longer than the traditional GCSE examinations. Therefore, it is vital that all Year 11 students make the most of the lessons they have in school between their examinations. Students are expected to be in school until half term. There have been requests from parents for study leave for their child and in some cases this has been granted. I sincerely hope all Year 11 students will make the most of the opportunities offered by staff and keep attending their lessons.
